A Gambling Vacation to Bandung

Just a brief intro here..We (En.Tunang & I) have been to Bandung for 5 days 4 night via Air Asia..Its a promo tix for TWO but still expensive lor..Eagerly to reach Bandung at that time, have make us decided to buy the tix.. Ahaks,Konon2 to look for Wedding thingy..Hurm..but worth it ke..Seems kat Malaysia ni xder place to look for that thingy jerkan..Aiyoo..already bought the tix, then plzzzz GOOO okk..no turning back..

Preparation to Bandung

Hey y'all..3days before the flight, I've been advised by my officemate to do a Web Check In or i will be charged for RM10 for Counter Check In (Affective Oct'11 xsilap)..So, since this is our first time to do the Web Check-In, im so worried gak la..Yerla, dont know where to go first when we reach the Airport later and can i add additional luggage once i've alredy check in..wahhhh, not so confident okkk..Luckily, one of my fren just went back from Bandung few weeks before im leaving..So, just asked her but still xconfident..ngeh ngeh ngeh..

Oh ya, accomodation!! Mula2 nk cari kat sana je..but since we will arrive in the late of evening, harusla book from here first for one night only..Iskkk,last minute lagi..Merata2 cari, all fully booked, xpun kena bayar depo dlu..xnakkk..nk yg xyah bayar depo..Finally got one, which is at Hotel Bumi Asih, very closed to Jalan Dago & Jalan Riau..Nice choice, no need to upfront the deposit OKK..just for ONE night, the rest of the days-Think LATER..hehehe..

Dont forget to Change Money k..at my time the rate was 100RP = RM33.70. So We both tukar RM2000 sorg..Meaning RM4000 kami tukar tauu..Giler !! jutawan segeraaa OKK.. (Bazirnyer duit tuuu, simpan duit tu lg bagus :( .. )

So, we both are READY to GOOO..Selamat Siangg Pakkk..

Day 1: Flight Departure & Arrival.

A bit late to Airport..Then, we asked adik En.Tunang to send us to LCCT straight away..Drop by at Hentian Dengkil for our heavy lunch coz kami x pre-booked meal dlm flight nnt andddddd finallyy we managed to reach LCCT on time..Tq Idaaann..hahhh, as expected earlier..We both blurr "Kiter nk gi mane ni", "Ntahh", "Cbe tgk dlm printed Web Check In Paper tu punyer instruction","Cant help much"..Then, En.Tunang terus tnya kat staff Air Asia kt Counter Self Check In where we should go first..Org tu ckp, bawak all the luggage yg nk kna cek-in tu gi scan..Once the luggage got the CHECKED sticker then we straightly go to Luggage Check-In Counter for Indonesia.It has few counters for Indonesia la.. Different destination has different counter k..plz take note. Once luggage dah Check-In, kitorg plak nk kena check-in..Hehehe..& ready to Take Off..

Please take note that Indonesia is 1 hour late from Malaysia and it took about 2 hours to reach Hussain Sastranegara International Airport, Bandung.

30Minutes before we landed, we can saw from the top how Bandung area looks like..GASPPP!!Very packk with small house..no space in between..We can saw budak2 main bola, Jalan raya yg agak MACET (jam) anddddd goshhh, the Airport was locatedd around residential area laaa..like Subang Airport..Sgt2 kecil the Airport n nk kata Daif tu mcm cruel sgt..Mungkin one day the Gomen will upgrade the Airport soon kott..

Oh ya, just to inform earlier..Since Airport Bandung kecil n kurang facilities, segera2 kan turun flight dgn cepat and terus queue kat Counter de k..Counter dia just ada 3..One for Indonesian Passport, 2 counter for foreigner with 4 lanes..Ha gilir2 la nk berjumpa dgn Bapak imigrasi ni haa..Sgt lambat okkk.. Luggage plak, diorg akan susun kat tepi jer..So, jgn salah amek luggage k..Check properly..heheh..

So, once sumer done, we both terus kluar..Alamak, how to get taxi ni..sbb pesanan dr blog2 org jgn simply amek taxi..Dptkan Blue Bird if possible (camner la rupa Burung Biru ni yer)..We kluar jer, terus nmpak ramai gler org tgh tggu sanak saudara ke, customer ker yg baru arrived. Kitorg jer xder sapa nk amekk..hhuhu..sedihh..So kluar jer Airport, terus xtau nk gi mane..Mane nk cari Taxi Airport yg aku dok bace2 dlm blog ni..n sebenarnyer xder pun org taxi2 dok kerumun kami to use their service mcm dlm blog yg aku bacer..Mungkin Airport xbagi dh kot..So blurr..Ada Taxi Stand in front of Airport, Should we go there or just standing still?hehehhe..at last En.Tunang round2 and saw Taxi Counter on the Left side of Airport Entrance. Dia kat luar tau..RP40,000 to our Hotel..Mahal okk..Name of the taxi lupa, tp lebih ke pukau2 name de..hahaha..Blue Color, taxi ni mcm xder meter jer..Once sampai ke destination (Hotel Bumi Asih), we have to pay the driver RP45,000..Xbaik kann..Hurmm..Btw, the Hotel was veryyyy2 niceee ok..near to Gedung Sate (Government Place)..Hotel de mcm chalet pun ada..So Called "Chalet in the Garden" la.heheh

Masa nk check in hotel, we both sempat tanya where to get the Bandung Map. Kot2 hotel ada map kan..so we all xyah la nk beli2..But unfortunately, they only got yg xup2date punyer but still can be a reference. Then we take one la..Staff situ ckp, if nk Map bandung, boleh beli kat org2 yg jalan2 kat traffic light n ada jual map..So, kitorg letak brg sumer terus kuar with a guide of our Not-So-Updated-Map.. Actually, we all kluar terus coz nk cari hotel yg lebih murah2 konon2nyer.. So we go around by walking and find nothing until we reach a very famous road in bandung k..Which is Jalan Riau & Jalan Dago (Famous with their Factory Outlet)..Wahh, dats mean our Hotel was soooo near with this 2 road..Sgt2 eager, but we have no time to enter all the premises as we need to find a hotel for our next stay. Yeah, there are lots of hotel there along Jalan Dago, but regardless how many star they have, the price wasss so unreasonable..Sob Sob..tu blom consider quality lagi tu..So, we kept walking while taking a "fresh air" in Bandung..Bandung wasnt as bad as what i thought before. There're Maju jaya,clean & org2 nyer cantik2..cumer masih ada golongan2 yg kurang berkemampuan disini..Kat maner2 ada pemuda pemudi yg akan menyumbangkan suara yg enak tu di jalan2 demi sesuap nasi..No wonder they got a very big Talent kan..Practice make perfect..Ini sumer di kira tradisi di Indonesia la kot..its fun actually even im not giving any cent to them at all..So tireddd alreadyy..Jgn terkejut k..We both managed to walk a veryyy long distance just to get the fresh air in Bandung k..Once we reached our Hotel, we did another round until we got really tired. So, no cheap hotel..Ada tu ada, tp jauh skit and En.Tunang mcm risau.xderla jauh mane pun, kat Jalan Riau tp kawasan dlm2..Ballikkkkk..Tggu day 2 plak k..
